Tails & Trails

Our Tails & Trails service offers a unique opportunity for dogs to grow in obedience, confidence, and socialisation while enjoying a fun, structured group adventure. Perfect for dogs that need consistent training and social exposure, this service combines education with exercise in a supportive, social environment.

We pick up your dog and head out to a variety of hand-picked public and private locations, ensuring new experiences that reinforce essential skills in real-world settings. During our two-hour session, we work on core training goals such as obedience, impulse control, healthy decision making, and social dynamics. Our groups are intentionally kept small, with no more than six dogs per handler, to ensure focused attention and quality interactions.

Many of our pack members have joined us initially for training and continue to find value in the ongoing consistency, structure, and social opportunities provided by the Tails & Trails program. Whether your dog is just starting their training journey or is looking for continued support, our service offers a fun, safe, and stimulating way for them to build skills while enjoying the great outdoors.


CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that due to the number of enquiries we receive we are unable to hold spots without confirmation and payment for longer than three business days. Responding and paying as quickly as possible will ensure this slot is confirmed for you.

Our cancellation policy for our training services applies as follows: Cancellation within 48hrs of the confirmed booking’s date will result in no refund or customer credit issued; Cancellation between 48hrs and 72hrs of the confirmed booking’s date will result in a 50% customer credit on your account. The credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue and must be used on The Canine Counsellor’s services; Cancellation prior to 72hrs of the confirmed booking’s date will result in a full refund or customer credit, whichever you prefer.
